Chip

This poor guy was used as bait by one of the dog fighting rings that operated near Allendale, S.C. He was found wandering the streets as a stray and taken to a kill shelter. He has since been rescued by our partners Home for Good Dog Rescue.

Chip was severely emaciated and covered in wounds and scars. He had a number of teeth missing, likely from trying to free himself from chains. It is estimated that Chip is about four years old.

We are making a donation to pay for Chip’s care, including antibiotics and medicated baths, as well as neutering and vaccinations. While it will be a while before Chip is ready for adoption, he is recovering with Home for Good.

The Tess McIntyre Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity that works with rescue agency partners to help abandoned, abused and injured dogs. Donations to the foundation will help us help more dogs like Chip.
