Maria

Marla is a young puppy who had been left behind an apartment complex in a wire crate. She was rescued by Saving the Chain Dog Rescue in Aiken, S.C., who then turned her over to our partners Home for Good Dog Rescue.

Marla was lifeless when she was found, having not had any food, water or care likely for several days. She was emaciated, suffered from severe mange and was covered with fleas.

She is now under the care of Home for Good and is on the mend. She will stay with Home for Good at their facility in Aiken until fully recovered and then will be transported to New Jersey for adoption.

We are sponsoring Marla to cover the cost of her treatment and care. This includes antibiotics and medicated baths as well as spay, vaccines, deworming and microchip.

The Tess McIntyre Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity that works with rescue agency partners to help provide the care for abandoned, abused and injured dogs. Contributions to the foundation will help us help more dogs like Marla.
