Banjo

Four-year-old Banjo was saved from a high-kill shelter in Marion County, South Carolina, by our partners Home for Good Dog Rescue. The shelter was reported to be filthy with dogs kept in rusty cages, being allowed to fight and feces everywhere.

It's no wonder poor Banjo was found to have both heartworm and mange. Because of his heartworm condition, he was on a three-day wait list to be euthanized.

We are providing funding to treat both of these conditions, as well as needed double entropion surgery and neutering. All of Banjo’s maladies are treatable and we expect to eventually see a healthy dog heading north to find his forever home.

Tess McIntyre Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity that raises funds to support rescue dogs that need medical care in order to restore their health and prepare them for adoption. Donations to the foundation will help us help more dogs like Banjo.
