Hope

Hope the dog

Hope is a one-year-old Golden Retriever who was turned over to our partners Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue with a number of severe injuries, the cause of which is unknown. She had multiple severe lesions on three of her pads and a hock. In addition she showed signs of incontinence and was diagnosed with a tarsal fusion (two bones growing into each other).

The Tess McIntyre Foundation is making a donation to help offset Hope’s expensive veterinary bills. She has been hospitalized and will be for 30 days with daily bandage changes. After that she will have corrective surgery for the tarsal fusion.

Our partners at SCGRR say “Hope is an absolute love bug who is deserving of so much more than she has experienced in her short life.”

Working with various rescue agency partners, the Tess McIntyre Foundation provides financial support for rescued dogs who require medical treatment before they can be adopted. Donations to the foundation will help us help more dogs like Hope.

Donations to The Tess McIntyre Foundation are tax deductible. The Tess Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)3 charity.
Tax ID # 47-5329117.
