In memory of Bill McIntyre

(1946-2019)

and his beloved dog Tess.

Pitch

pitch the dog

This big (122 pounds), handsome, mixed-breed dog is from Tijuana. Pitch was adopted by a man in San Diego, but when his owner was forced to work two jobs he was left alone most of the day. By the time he came to our partners at Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue he was showing signs of neglect.

Pitch had a double ear infection, a hematoma that required surgery, a possible ruptured anal gland and a skin infection. The Tess McIntyre Foundation is sponsoring Pitch in order to help pay his medical expenses. Those expenses include the surgery, anal gland expression and flush, ear treatment, various medications and a full set of vaccinations.

The Tess McIntyre Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity which provides funding for the medical care of abandoned, abused and injured dogs that have been rescued by our rescue agency partners. One hundred percent of the funds donated to the foundation go toward supporting dogs like Pitch.

Donations to The Tess McIntyre Foundation are tax deductible. The Tess Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)3 charity.
