In memory of Bill McIntyre

(1946-2019)

and his beloved dog Tess.

Walter

Walter the dog

Walter had been in a shelter for about a month when our partners at Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue got him and took him into their care. He appears to have been in pain, was afraid and wouldn’t walk on a leash. Even after his rescue, he mostly curled up and slept, wary of his new surroundings.

Walter had scar tissue on the back of his neck from something he had probably been secured with. Both of his eyes will require surgery to cure entropion. All four of his eyelids are turned inward with the bottom lids turned in so far that his fur is rubbing his eyes.

The Tess McIntyre Foundation will be providing funding for Walter’s operation and for him to be neutered. With the care he is now receiving, we look forward to seeing Walter’s spirits pick up and eventually get adopted into the loving home he deserves.

Please consider a donation to the Tess McIntyre Foundation so we can help more dogs like Walter.
