In memory of Bill McIntyre

and his beloved dog Tess.

Willy is a beautiful two-year-old Chocolate Lab. When our partners at Home for Good rescued Willy in Marion County, S.C., he had a broken hip and leg. The leg had calcified since it had been left that way by the breeder where he spent much of his first two years.

We are sponsoring Willy to help pay for the surgery to amputate his leg as well as provide the necessary vaccines and neutering. Home for Good has a track record of successfully treating and adopting dogs with similar disabilities into loving, caring homes. We expect the same will happen when Willy has recovered and makes the trip north.

Home for Good Dog Rescue is a foster-based rescue based in Berkeley Heights, N.J. They have saved more than 7,000 dogs from kill shelters in the South during their eight years of existence.

Tess McIntyre Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity that raises funds to support rescue dogs that need medical care in order to restore their health and prepare them for adoption. Donations to the foundation will help us help more dogs like Willy.
